The First Pitch

The need and the benefit


The customer/market need that we detected and are going to focus on first, is the possibility to enjoy the experience of eating ice-cream, rather than just enjoying the physical product. One of our team members noticed that in most Ingman kiosks, there are no place to sit and chat with other people, nor music or other entertainment. The benefit to the company would result by the customers staying longer in the kiosk, and be more likely buy drinks and other products alongside with the ice-cream. This would obviously bring more revenue to the company - we are benefitting the company via benefitting the customer. 

Outcomes of the first pitch

I pitched our idea to a friend, and here is what he thought of it;
- "This might be nice in some locations, like parks and other peaceful places. On the other hand, I've seen kiosks with these kind of solutions as well, so what's new? I don't think this would work in cities, because there are already places to sit, I just like to take my ice-cream with me and sit somewhere else. Music might be nice."
