Kind of products and disposition :

The services offered by Sokos are built around the product group areas of women's and men's clothing, beauty, home and children's items, recreation, sports and leisure.
In connection with the department store, further services are provided by Cafe Wiklund, Hyvä Olo hair salon, Oral dental care services, an Alko alcohol retailer outlet, Wiklund pharmacy, Wiklund cobbler and Eurokangas draper's.”

Expensive and sometimes luxuory products for mainly women.

Floor -1 : S-market and Alko (Grocery store + Alcohol)
Floor 0 : Women clothes, Accessories, Pharmaceutical products, Tobacconist's (magazines), Cosmetics, Products put on sales (toy, women and men clothes, shoes), florist, café.
Floor 1 : Shoes, men clothes, lingerie, men underwear, sport products, ticket office, luggage seller, leisure products (cultural and electronic products (phone and tablet)) seller, café, class clothes.
Floor 2 : Decoration products, domestic electrical, kids clothes, hairdresser, fabric seller(?).

The kinds of products in red are according to me not part of Sokos.

Products are put per kinds of products and brands. We can see that per floor the disposition could be better even if there are a logic. It will be more reasonable to put hairdresser, kid clothes, fabric seller on the second floor and the products which not concerned the appearance as luggage or ticket at the third floor.

There are a global basic decorations, white tales on the ground, music and displays.

Each brand can ad a special atmosphere on their spaces with some decorations. For instance the Brand Morris put an armchair and a carpet, but the differences as not that big, so the separation is not that important.
Sometimes the difference is more important, for more class products as lingerie with parquet and curtains, or with nice displays as for the perfums.

There are some checkouts per floor (4 at least), one per kind of products.
However, there are one for the cosmetics, one for the accessories products and between these two areas there are the pharmaceutical products. So I think you can pay products at checkout of a different kind of products, but the kinds have to be quite the same (accessories and clothes for instance). There are one seller per checkout or two and some in the different areas but they are not one per brands.


There are some measures for disabbled people : some elevators (3 at least) and some ramps.
